You are looking at BMW written vertically, one letter to a box. The B sits in a square at the top left, the M drops down and to the right in an overlapping square, and the W falls back to the left in a third, so the three boxes form a staggered zigzag.
The letters are heavy, high-contrast serif capitals, quite unlike the sans-serif BMW lettering on a modern car, and each box is a thin outlined square. At the side of every stack stands a tall thin vertical bar, which frames the lettering like a spine.
The outlines are fine and the boxes overlap, so the sticker looks best at a medium or large size, where the thin lines stay clean. It makes an unusual badge for the side window, boot lid or toolbox, particularly if you like the idea of BMW written like a stack of toy building blocks.
