Heavy ring or fine ring? Two oval AGVSPORT emblems are stocked and they are the same artwork drawn at different weights. This is the heavy one: the ring is roughly twice the stroke width of the fine version, and the device inside sits proportionally smaller as a result.

Which to pick

Stroke weight decides how far away the badge still reads. The heavy ring holds together on a tail unit, a van panel or a rear window at distance, and it survives being applied small — down around 6cm the fine ring starts to look like a thin scratch. The fine version is the better choice on leathers or a helmet, where the badge is seen close up and the heavier ring can look blunt.

Cut from a single colour with the ring, the device and the space between them all cut through, so the surface underneath fills the middle of the oval rather than a printed white ground.
