Is this the oval on your leathers? Hold the two side by side before deciding. This is the fine-stroke drawing: the ring is about half the width of the heavy version, the oval is a touch wider overall, and the device sitting inside it fills more of the space.

Where the fine ring wins

Close up it is the better looking of the two. On a leather shoulder panel, a helmet shell, a laptop lid or a phone case — anything seen from arm's length — the thinner ring keeps the emblem looking drawn rather than blocked in. At distance, or applied small, it gives up ground to the heavy version, which stays legible where this one starts to break into a thin outline.

Cut from one colour of vinyl. The centre of the oval is cut away entirely, so the surface underneath shows through and the emblem does not carry a white ground with it.
