Where does a wordmark this shape actually fit? It is much wider than it is tall, which rules out most of the places a round badge goes and opens up the ones a badge never suits.
Good placements
Across the shoulders of a leather jacket or the back of a race suit, along the top of a windscreen, down the length of a swingarm, across the header rail of a race trailer, along a garage shelf edge, or across the width of a toolbox drawer. Anywhere the available space is a strip rather than a square.
The letters are hollow — formed by their outline with the middles left open — so the surface underneath reads through them. At a good size that is what makes it look applied rather than stuck on; below about 15cm wide the open centres start to close visually and it reads as solid lettering instead.
