Which print is which? The small, round one is the front foot and the long, narrow one is the hind. A bear's hind foot is much longer than its front, and its print looks a lot like a person's bare foot, with a wide ball and a long heel, which is why people spot it on a muddy trail.
The artwork stacks two pairs, with the front print on the left of the top row and on the right of the bottom row, so the pairs stagger like a bear padding along. Each toe is a smooth rounded pad, and the tiny dots above them are the claw marks, set a short way ahead of each toe the way a real print shows them.
Two stickers are supplied, which lets you place the pairs side by side or one above another on a door, along a wall at child height, or on a camper's side. Tall and narrow, the layout is easy to apply as one piece with the transfer tape.
