The long curved claws and the long, narrow heel are what separate a bear track from a dog's. This print shows five toes in a gentle arc and, above each, a claw that sweeps forward and outward in a sharp curve. Below the toes the pad is an elongated shape with a slight bend, which is how a hind foot looks since a bear walks on the whole sole.
It is drawn in solid black with no interior lines, so every part is a separate piece of vinyl. The claws and toes are cut apart, held in position by the transfer tape, and go on as a single unit.
As a pair they can be fitted as a left and right print on a tailgate, stepped across a wall like a trail, or one on each side of a fridge or toolbox. The size range runs from a helmet badge at 10cm to a full trail of prints on a garage wall at 50cm and above.
