If you just want the flag, which one do you buy? This one. Everything else in this range frames the design in gold, crops it to a shape or hangs it from a bar, and all of that adds something the flag itself does not have. Here the only intervention is a soft wave along the top and bottom edges, enough to suggest cloth without turning the sticker into an illustration of cloth.
That makes it the safest choice for a formal placement — a shop window, a vehicle door, a display board, luggage, a locker — and the one that stays readable at the smallest sizes, because there is no frame competing with the bands for space.
What you get is the ceremonial version of the national flag: three horizontal bands in celeste, white and celeste, with the Sol de Mayo in the centre. The sun has a human face modelled on Inti, the Inca sun god, and thirty-two rays alternating between straight and wavy. It commemorates the May Revolution of 1810. Manuel Belgrano created the banded flag in 1812; the sun was added in 1818, and the plain version without it remains in use as the civil flag.
