Of all the gold-framed badges here, this is the one that keeps the flag closest to its true proportions. The frame is rectangular, so the celeste and white bands run their full width and stack in the correct three-part ratio — nothing is cropped by a curve or squeezed into a point the way it is in the oval, diamond and shield versions. The edges bow outward very slightly and the gold catches a highlight along the top, which gives the badge a shallow domed look, closer to an enamel plate than a printed rectangle.

The flag inside is the ceremonial version: three horizontal bands, celeste above and below, white through the middle, with the Sol de Mayo centred. The sun carries a human face taken from Inti, the Inca sun god, and thirty-two rays that alternate between straight and wavy. It commemorates the May Revolution of 1810, and it joined the flag in 1818, six years after Manuel Belgrano first raised the banded design at Rosario.
