Squirts are the first thing the Kid meets in Bastion, Supergiant Games' 2011 action RPG about a world called Caelondia that has broken into floating pieces. They are small, round, bouncing creatures that come in packs and pop when hit, and they turned into a mascot of sorts for the game and for the studio that went on to make Transistor, Pyre and Hades.
The decal draws one as a near-sphere: a solid body with a cluster of highlight spots along the top left, one round eye, a small notch of a mouth and a single tendril that curls out from the underside and back on itself like a fiddlehead. It is cut as one piece of vinyl with the eye and highlights as gaps, so the surface colour shows through them.
Two stickers come in each pack as mirror images, one looking left and one right, so they can sit either side of a laptop logo or face each other across a console. It is a laptop, phone, controller and water-bottle sticker first, and at 20–30cm it also suits a games-room door or a window. Nineteen colours are available; black or white reads best as a cut.
