Agip Super Cortemaggiore Stickers (2-Pack) – Katakana Plaque images
Super Cortemaggiore was Agip petrol, launched in the early 1950s and named after the Cortemaggiore field in Emilia where Italian gas and oil had been struck a few years before. It was sold as the powerful Italian petrol, and the name became attached to the six-legged dog at exactly the point that mark was introduced — which is why the two appear together on period signage.
What makes this version unusual is that the caption is set in Japanese katakana rather than Latin script, in red across the foot of the plaque. Reproductions like this come out of the Japanese classic car and bike scene, where European period liveries have a long following, and the katakana rendering is a marker of that rather than anything Agip used in Italy.

The dog overhangs the top of the plaque, so its legs and tail are the narrowest sections of the cut. Press those down first and work downwards into the panel.
