This artwork appears twice in the catalogue with identical cuts, and the only difference is where it tends to end up. The other listing is written for the guitar case and the amp; this one is for the pickup rear window, the bass boat, the cooler and the tailgate, where the two words in tall rough capitals read as a hometown badge for Louisiana's capital as much as a band name.
The lettering is condensed and hand-drawn, each capital a slightly different height, the strokes swelling and thinning like brushwork, with a scratchy underline beneath BATON and another beneath ROUGE. It is cut as one strip about three times wider than it is tall, both words and both lines on a single sheet of transfer tape, so the alignment goes down exactly as drawn.
Two identical stickers come in each pack. At the 10cm preset the letters are small and best kept to a smooth surface; 20–30cm is the window and tailgate size; custom sizes to 120cm are cut for a trailer or a wall. Nineteen colours are available; white on tinted glass or a dark truck, black on a white boat or a pale wall.
