There are two Agip logotype decals here and they are not interchangeable. The other one is the letterform on its own with a fine inline channel through it. This one adds a hard offset shadow to the lower right of each character and squashes the whole word wider and shorter, so it fills a long shallow space — a sill, a rear valance, a fairing lower — that the taller version would leave gaps around.

Because both the letter and its shadow are cut from the same single colour of vinyl, the shadow does not read as a second tone; it reads as extra weight and depth in the outline. That makes it the better choice at a distance and on textured or dark surfaces where fine inline detail disappears.
