Each sticker is one piece of cut vinyl, both squares and all four letters, weeded and ready on transfer tape so the spacing stays exactly as the logo is drawn. At the 10cm preset the letters are only about 2cm tall, fine for a toolbox or a laptop; a car door strip or a workshop window wants 30–55cm, and sizes to 120cm are cut to order.
BASF is the chemical company from Ludwigshafen on the Rhine, founded in 1865 as the Badische Anilin- und Soda-Fabrik and today one of the largest chemical producers in the world. The two-squares symbol has fronted the wordmark since 2004. Older enthusiasts know the name from a different place entirely: BASF made cassette, reel-to-reel and video tape for decades, and the logo still turns up on vintage hi-fi gear and blank-tape collections.
Use it as a sponsor strip on a race replica, on a tape deck or a flight case, on a workshop door or a laptop. The vinyl is a single colour with no background, so pick a shade that contrasts the surface; there are 19 to choose from, including the dark green and red that suit a period livery.
