Why do you see claws on trucks and not just paws? Because a claw is the bear in one shape. A grizzly's front claws are long, heavy and only gently curved, and the picture here is a pair of them: black crescents with smooth edges, widest at the root and narrowing to a needle point.
At the root there is a hollow white shape with a black outline, the part that would sit in the toe. Because it is open vinyl, the colour of your surface shows through, so the claw seems to come out of the paint. The two claws point opposite ways, which lets you stack them like a pair of crescent moons or place them either side of a centre line.
It suits a tailgate, a bonnet, a helmet, a guitar body or a bike frame, and its simple outline holds up when cut very large. The same shape also appears in the Bear Claw Stickers pack, which has a slightly rougher edge.
