How loud is a bear's roar? Not very, as it happens; the real sounds are huffs, jaw-pops and growls. But on a sticker the roar is the point, and this head puts it front and centre: the jaws gape wide, the top fangs hang long on either side of a wet black nose, and a pale tongue sits in the dark of the mouth.
The drawing is inked with a hand-cut look. The face is black with white fur patches left open on the cheeks, the brow and the forehead, the eyes are narrowed and ringed in shadow with a small white gleam, and a tuft of fur splits the skull between the ears. It is in the style of a sports crest but without any lettering or a team name.
Two heads are supplied, one above the other, both facing the viewer. They suit a bonnet, a motorbike tank, a helmet, a trailer door or a gym wall, and at 15cm or above the fur detail stays clean on the transfer tape.
