A largemouth bass does this when it feels the hook: it comes up through the surface, mouth open, shaking its head to throw the lure. That is the pose here, drawn in heavy outline with the body bent into a C, the jaw open wide enough to show the inside of the mouth, the gill cover flared and the tail curled back under the belly.
Unlike the solid silhouette bass in this range, this one is line art. The interior is open, so the surface colour shows through the body and only the outline, the fin rays and the eye are vinyl. That makes it light on glass and gives it the look of a tattoo flash drawing or a tackle-shop sign. It is also the most detailed of the plain bass decals without becoming fragile at small sizes.
Two stickers come in each pack as mirror images, one leaping to the left and one to the right. On a boat they take the bow on each side; on a truck the rear window corners; on a tackle box or a cooler lid one is enough. At the 10cm preset the fish is a small badge; 20–30cm suits glass and hulls; custom sizes to 120cm are cut for a garage door. Nineteen colours are available.
