The spinnerbait is a fixture of bass fishing for a reason: a bent wire arm with a flashing blade on top and a skirted jig head below, it can be burned over grass, slow-rolled along a drop-off or bumped through timber. This decal puts one in the water with the fish that made it famous, the lure drawn blade-up and skirt flared the instant before the bass closes on it.
The fish itself is cut in the style of a wildlife engraving: the dark lateral band broken into blotches, the spiny and soft dorsal fins, the flared gill plate and the big hinged jaw. The lure is cut as a separate small piece, so the sticker arrives as two parts on one sheet of transfer tape and goes down in one pass.
Two stickers come in each pack as mirror images, so one bass strikes from the left and one from the right, which is exactly what a boat needs for port and starboard. On a truck they go either side of the rear window; a single one suits a tackle box, a rod tube or a cooler. At the 10cm preset it is a badge; 30cm fills a hull panel; custom sizes to 120cm are cut for a garage door. Nineteen colours are available, with white the usual pick on dark gelcoat.
