Laurel sprays have crowned winners since ancient Greece, and here two slender gold ones curve up either side of a shield carrying the flag of Afghanistan, turning a simple flag badge into something closer to a regimental or club crest.

The shield rises to a soft peak at the top and narrows to a point at the base, edged in gold, with the black, red and green bands running down it and the white emblem large on the red. Gold ribbon tails fold out beneath. It is the most formal design in this Afghan set, ideal for a display cabinet, a study wall, a memorial book or a car window.

Both stickers are printed in full colour on glossy vinyl and cut round the shield, laurels and ribbons. Clean the surface, peel the backing and press each one down from the centre outwards.
