Afghanistan National Emblem Stickers (2-Pack) – Gold Crest Decals images
Every element of this crest is doing a job. At the centre is a mosque drawn from the front, with the mihrab — the niche that marks the direction of Mecca — and a minbar, the stepped pulpit, beside it. Two small national flags lean in from either side. Around the whole thing runs a wreath of wheat sheaves, and above the mosque sits the shahada, the Islamic declaration of faith.
The numerals under the mosque read 1298. That is a Solar Hijri year rather than a Gregorian one, and it corresponds to 1919 — the year of the Treaty of Rawalpindi, when Afghanistan regained control of its own foreign affairs. The scroll at the foot of the wreath carries the country name in Dari.

Printed in gold on a white ground, it holds up best on a dark surface where the gold has something to contrast against. The fine detail inside the mosque arches is the first thing to soften if you go very small, so 15cm and up is the safer choice if you want it crisp.
