This range has three Barbados desk flags and this is the sturdiest: a thick silver pole with a large polished ball on top and a wide flat base, the kind of table flag that stands on a boardroom table rather than a bedside cabinet. The other silver version has a slimmer pole and smaller ball; the third has a black pole with a spike. On all three the flag waves out to the right with a soft highlight along the fold, the gold centre carrying the black broken trident.
Thick hardware reads clearly at the smallest preset sizes, so this is the desk flag to choose for a phone case, a notebook corner, a monitor edge or a small window pane, as well as a laptop lid, an office door or a car's rear quarter glass.
Barbados adopted the flag at independence on 30 November 1966: ultramarine for the sea and sky, gold for the sand, and the trident broken from its shaft to mark the break with colonial rule. Printed in full colour on glossy vinyl, cut round the base, pole and flag with a narrow white border. Two identical stickers per pack.
