Why two notches rather than one? A double swallowtail leaves three points along the hem, which looks fuller and more ceremonial than the single-notch version and echoes the way a real cloth banner swings on a stage. That is the whole difference between this sticker and the plain swallowtail banner in this range: the rod with its gold arrow tips, the softly folded ultramarine and gold cloth and the black broken trident are the same.
The vertical format fits a door, a window pillar, a locker, a fridge side or the long edge of a laptop lid, and two of them make a pair either side of a doorway for Independence Day on 30 November or for Crop Over in the summer.
The trident has been Barbados's own symbol since 1966, when it was broken from its shaft to mark the break with colonial rule; the island became a republic on the same date in 2021. Printed in full colour on glossy vinyl and cut round the rod and the three points with a narrow white border. Two identical stickers per pack.
