Sierra 200 is the name of the 200-horsepower Beechcraft Sierra, the retractable-gear four-seater built in the 1970s. Is it a sticker for owners only? Not at all, but they will be the people who spot the number straight away and know what it refers to.
The letters are not filled in. Each capital is traced as a hollow outline with a heavier shadow stroke along the lower right edge, which gives a slightly raised, signwriter look, and the S, R and 2 all have soft, rounded corners. The 200 is drawn in the same hollow style so that the two words read as one badge.
Because the inside of every letter is open, the colour of whatever you stick it to shows through. On a dark toolbox in white it looks like chalk lettering; on a car window it looks like etched glass. Stay above 12cm so the thin lines keep their continuity.
