Bardo Pond formed in Philadelphia in the early 1990s and have spent three decades making slow, heavy, fuzz-soaked psychedelic rock, with Isobel Sollenberger's flute and voice drifting over the guitars; Amanita (1996) on Matador is the usual starting point. Their logo looks like the music sounds: two lines of rounded, blobby, hand-drawn letters, each one swollen like a drop of ink, with small eye-like counters that seem to look back at you.
It is cut exactly to those blob shapes from a single colour of vinyl, with the two lines held in place by the transfer tape, and it suits a guitar case, an amp head, a pedalboard lid, a laptop, a record crate or a bedroom door. The letters are thick, so it applies easily even at the smaller preset sizes.
Black is the band's own choice; white on a dark case or a deep purple both suit the psychedelic feel. Choose from 19 colours.
