How small can a bat go and still be a bat? About this small. The shape here is the one children draw and the one pumpkin-carving stencils use: two wide wings with a wavy bottom edge, a little bump of head with a notch for the ears and a point for the tail. There is no detail to lose, so it cuts cleanly at the 10cm preset and reads as a bat from across a room.
That simplicity makes it the most flexible bat of the set. It works as a tiny sticker on a phone, a nail-polish-sized mark on a jar lid, a row along the edge of a shelf or a laptop, or, cut large up to 120cm, as the one big bat in the middle of a shop window. It also stacks well: because the wings are so wide and shallow, several can be set in a column with little space between.
Two identical stickers come in each pack, each a single piece of vinyl in one colour with no background. Nineteen colours are available. Black on glass or a pale wall is the standard, white is good on a dark door, and the glyph shape also suits brighter colours for a less spooky, more playful look.
