Bataleon's wordmark shows up in several styles across this range. This is the melted one: the same eight capitals, but drawn as if the paint has run, with sagging bowls on the B and O, blobbed terminals and drips hanging off the bottom of every stroke. Beside the clean block version it looks like spring slush; beside the scrawled marker version it is rounder and heavier.
Bataleon is the Dutch snowboard maker from Amsterdam that built its reputation on Triple Base Technology, a 3D base with lifted side bases that makes the board catch less and float more. The logo in its various forms goes on the boards, the bindings and the stickers that come in the box, and riders tend to collect them for helmets, boards and bumper bars.
Each sticker is one strip of cut vinyl in a single colour with the drips as part of the cut; two identical strips per pack. At the 10cm preset the letters are small enough for a helmet or a phone; 20–30cm suits a board's nose or tail, a laptop or a car window; custom sizes to 120cm are cut for a van or a ski-locker wall. Nineteen colours are available.
