The pads are big, round and solid, almost cartoon-like, and instead of thin claws the top of the paw is wrapped in a thick outline that flares into spikes, which could be read as fur, claws or flame. Between the outline and the pads is a band of open space, so the vinyl forms two shapes, an inner pad group and an outer border.

The heel pad has a small tail on one side, like a comma, which gives the print direction. The toes are arranged in an arc over the pad, three across the top and two down the right side, so it looks like a paw turned a little to one side rather than square on.

Because the lines are thick, it carries well at distance: a bonnet, a trailer side or a wall mural. It also reduces well, to a 10cm badge for a helmet, bike frame or bottle. Colour choice matters: a pale outline on a dark car reads as a bright glow.
