Afghanistan Flag Stickers (2-Pack) – Torn Edge Banner Decal

SKU: 107-028126

A hanging banner whose lower edge is drawn as torn cloth, with the black, red and green bands ending at different heights in an uneven, weathered line. The tear is cut into the sticker rather than printed onto a rectangle.

Afghanistan changed its national flag more often through the twentieth century than any other country — by most counts more than twenty times, as monarchy gave way to republic, republic to occupation, and back again. A design showing the flag as worn cloth is not an accident of styling; it is the obvious visual shorthand for that history, and it is why this version exists alongside the clean-hemmed ones.

The flag shown is the black, red and green vertical tricolour used from 2004 until 2021, with the white national emblem across the centre: a front-on mosque, the mihrab arch marking the direction of Mecca, the minbar pulpit at its side, a wreath of wheat around both, and the Solar Hijri date 1298 beneath — 1919, the year independence in foreign affairs was won.

The tear is cut, not printed onto a rectangle. Each band finishes at its own height and the contour follows every notch, so the ragged edge survives at small sizes. Two identical stickers per pack, printed in full colour on glossy vinyl, 5–50cm / 2–20in, peel and stick with no transfer tape. They suit surfaces that are already a bit rough — a toolbox, a road case, a workshop door, a scooter panel.
