In 1919, after the Treaty of Rawalpindi, Afghanistan raised its own flag as a fully independent state, and flags flying from tall poles have been part of every Independence Day since. This sticker shows the republic flag doing just that.
A tall grey metal pole with a small ball finial and a base runs up the left side, and the black, red and green fabric ripples out to the right, with the white emblem of the mosque in its wheat wreath in the red band. Pole and flag are cut as one piece, so allow space to the right. It suits a van side, a car's rear window, a shop window or a wall.
Both stickers are printed in full colour on glossy vinyl and cut to the flag and pole. Clean the surface, peel the backing and press each one down from the pole outwards.
