Want a hanging flag with a bit more festival feel than a plain banner? This Afghan design ends in a zigzag: the hem is cut into a row of even, pointed teeth, like the trim on a market-stall awning or a celebration banner.

The flag hangs from a slim rod with small gold arrow tips, the three bands running straight down and the white emblem of the mosque in its wheat wreath centred in the red. Every tooth is part of the cut outline. At large sizes the zigzag stands out clearly; at very small sizes the points close up into a textured edge.

Both stickers are printed in full colour on glossy vinyl and cut to the banner, teeth and rod. Clean the surface, peel the backing and press each one down from the rod to the points.
