On a car it goes on the boot lid or the rear quarter panel, where an oval badge looks like it belongs; on a laptop it sits centred on the lid, and on a cricket bag it fits the end pocket. This is the Barbados flag inside a wide, gold-rimmed oval, the blue bands at the ends, the gold centre carrying the black broken trident, a glossy highlight sweeping across the upper left, and two short gold ribbon tails hanging beneath.
The oval is the widest of the four Barbados badges in this range, so it suits horizontal spaces where the shield and the medal would look cramped. The design reads as a rosette or a show badge, which makes it a popular choice for a car club, a boat or a steel-pan band's equipment cases.
Barbados adopted the flag on 30 November 1966, the day it became independent, and the trident was broken off at the shaft on purpose to mark the break with colonial rule. Printed in full colour on glossy vinyl and cut round the oval and ribbons with a narrow white border. Two identical stickers per pack.
