Barbados Flag Gold Shield Stickers (2-Pack) – Trident Badge, Ribbons images
A shield with a polished gold rim, the Barbados flag filling the face so the blue bands sit at the edges and the gold centre carries the black broken trident, a glossy curved highlight across the upper half as if the badge were enamelled, and two short gold ribbon tails hanging from the bottom point. It is drawn to look like a cast metal pin.
The gold rim and gold centre make this the brightest of the Barbados badges in this range, and the shield shape gives it a sporting feel: it suits a cricket bag, a football kit holder, a helmet, a car's rear window, a laptop or a phone case. There are three more badge shapes alongside it, a round medal, an oval and a wreathed shield.
The trident, broken off at the shaft, marks the island's independence on 30 November 1966; the blue stands for the sea and sky and the gold for the sand. Printed in full colour on glossy vinyl and cut round the shield and ribbons with a narrow white border. Two identical stickers per pack.
