Pennants are what you hang on a wall or from a window, and this sticker brings that look to flat surfaces. A thin gold rod with dark metal ends runs across the top, and the banner hangs from it in a shield-like shape that narrows to a shallow point.
The colours follow the flag of Benin. A broad green band fills the left side, with yellow over red on the right, and soft vertical folds in the cloth add shading to each block. That makes the colours richer than a flat print, and it gives the banner a sense of weight, as if it were made of satin.
Benin, once the kingdom of Dahomey, borders Togo, Nigeria, Burkina Faso and Niger, and its language of government is French. Its tricolour was flown by Dahomey from 1959 and by Benin again from 1990, after fifteen years under a different flag.
Use it where a real pennant would be too bulky: a student's door, a dorm wall, a locker, a laptop lid or a car rear window. The tall proportions leave room to place a smaller sticker underneath, such as a club badge or a football crest.
