Where the plain round disc of the Benin flag stops at the colours, this one dresses them up. The flag fills a glossy glass panel whose top edge swells in gentle scallops and whose sides fall away in angled corners, giving a shape somewhere between a hexagon and a cloud.
A polished gold border runs around the panel, and two gold ribbon tails hang below with a fine dark line down each, so the whole sticker looks like a prize rosette. The glass is shaded with a curved highlight across the green band and a pink glow in the corner of the red block, which gives the flat colours some depth.
The layout is that of the flag of Benin: a vertical green band on the hoist side, and on the right a yellow block above a red block. Benin took that arrangement back in 1990 after fifteen years under a red-star flag.
The ribbons make the sticker taller than it is wide, so it fits upright spaces such as a locker door, a laptop lid held in portrait, a car side window or the back of a phone. It is a good choice for anyone proud of Beninese roots, and for collectors who like medal-style flags.
