Fits best on things that deserve a rosette: a sports bag, a trophy shelf, a school locker, a car window or the lid of a laptop. The sticker takes the shape of a first-prize award, a saw-toothed gold disc with a glass dome in the middle and two ribbons below.
The saw-tooth edge is cut in fine points all the way round, with a darker gold band showing behind the dome like the underside of a medal. The dome itself is bright and glossy. A curved highlight sweeps across the green band at the left, and the yellow and red blocks keep a smooth, warm shine, so the flag looks like it is lit from the top left.
The flag is that of Benin, the West African country best known as the birthplace of Vodun, a religion practised in Ouidah and across the coast. Its national colours of green, yellow and red are shared by many African flags, and Benin has flown them again since 1990.
Because the rosette has a bigger outline than the plain round badges, it gives the flag more presence on a small surface and is easy to spot on a crowded laptop lid.
